Features:
Zoom: if it is active, it can be controlled by page up/down. Or every time by pressing Strg+Alt+Page up/down or Strg+Mouse wheel
Brushes: there are three different brush shapes. For Hexagon and Square the size can be defined. For Hexagon's it will be the radius, for squares the length of the square.
Airbrush: all fields will be set with a certain possibility (WHK). The unit is per cent, so 50 mean every second field will be set.
Types of fields: there are all types of fields, than in LaL. Random Field is new, and set a random field (plain, wood, mountain). The standard setting is 60-20-20. This means the field will become with 60% plain, or with 20% wood or with 20% mountain. The order is the same, as it is listed in "Fields".
Fertility and mountain-goods: can be every number between 0-100. You can also let the program calculate a random number:
Status bar: shows the fertility/rock/coal/ore/gold. It is the same order, as you can see it in english.
Undo: you can undo up to 5 steps. Steps are e.g. clicks, drags or the use of a script.
DE <-> EN: switch the language between German and English.
Calculate coastal water: if your map is finished, you only need to calculate the coastal water once. So you can create the whole map with normal water, and calculate the coastal water at the end. If you later change the map and need to calculate the coastal water again, press coastal water to water first.
Fil1 Sqare Seas: Sometime you get much seas with only one water field. So this command replaces it with the actual selected field.
The scripts should be a little help for creating new maps. The new window will close automatically, when the script has finished it's calculations. The last parameter will be saved and loaded automatically. The button default restore the parameters to the default values. All scripts work with the actual settings in the right column. If you have any suggestions for new scripts, don't hesitate to leave me a message.
Random: set every field randomly.
Scarify Coasts: This script can be used to rough the coastline up or to straighten it. Position and Radius defines the area, in which the script works. WHK1 is the possibility, that a country field with one water field as neighbor will become a water field. WHK2 is the possibility that a country field with two water fields as neighbor will become a water field. And so on and on. So the ranges of the possibilities can be between 0 and 100. Every Parameter in this script is used as an integer.
SeedPoints: is a script that calculates a whole map. Number stating points defines how many starting points there will be and number fields, how many country fields the whole map should have. A country field will be set on a water field, if at least one neighbor is a country field. Every field is selected randomly. The whole map has 90,000 fields. If you choose the number of country fields too high, the islands will grow together. So 40,000 will be a good value. Symmetric will set the starting points grid based. The calculation may take some seconds, the window closes automatically, when the calculation is done.
+1kFields: the map will grow about 1000 fields. A field will only set (“grow”), if at least one neighbor field is a country field.
Island: Position and Radius define the area. The number of coefficients and the multiplicator define the shape of the island. The shape is a bit randomly calculated, even if you use the same parameters. But the parameters also define the shape a bit. Just try it.
Style: you can choose between different grafic sets. Land/Water is useful to get a good view with the smallest amount of zoom.
